Ed is a native Delawarean living in West Chester, PA. He graduated from Salesianum School in 1983 and the E. Claiborne Robins School of Business at The University of Richmond in 1987. Ed received his certified public accountant certificate in 1989 and is licensed in both Pennsylvania & Delaware. In 1995, Ed received his Master of Taxation from Villanova University.
Ed has worked in both public accounting and the private sector. In the public accounting sector, Ed has worked for mid-size accounting firms with experiences in all areas of accounting, tax preparation & planning and consulting. Within these areas, Ed has worked with multi-state individual taxpayers, small to large multi-state corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. In the private sector, Ed has been controller of a non-profit health care organization and the Men’s Senior Tennis Tour.
Ed has volunteered his time as a member of the following organizations:
- Wedgewood Swim Club (president and treasurer)
- Peace Drums USA (treasurer)
- CMS Foundation (treasurer)
- Six-Three Retreat Group at St. Joseph’s in the Hills (executive committee and CA captain)
- University & Whist Club of Wilmington (treasurer)
- CYO Region 17 Girls’ Soccer (board member)
- Exchange Club of Exton (president)
One of Ed’s passions is soccer. Ed is currently the assistant head coach at Villa Maria Academy (8 seasons). Previously Ed was head coach for Villa Maria Academy Lower School CYO team and a club & recreation coach at West Chester United Soccer Club. Ed is also a Grade 7 USSF official and a PIAA high school official.
Ed is married and has two children.
